Print it, or stitch it.
Screen printing
Ink pushed through a stencil, one screen per colour. It lays flat and bright on cotton and cotton blends, and it is the right answer for a bold chapter logo, a line of text, or anything a whole group is wearing at once. Fewer colours in the art means fewer screens.
Usually goes on
Tees, hoodies, crews, tote bags
Embroidery
The design stitched into the garment with thread rather than printed on it. It reads as the more formal of the two, it survives washing indefinitely, and it is what you want on anything with a collar or a structured front.
Usually goes on
Polos, caps, jackets, bags, staff shirts
Two size runs, and they do not mean the same thing.
Standard
Similar to unisex sizes 12 and higher.
Regular
Accommodates sizes 0 to 12.
Order one size smaller in the standard size tee if you want it fitted. The unisex shirts are true to size. Our shirts are cut to follow the body rather than hang square.
What to send, and why it matters.
- Send vector art
- Provide a vector file (.ai, .eps or a vector .pdf). If your logo was designed for you, the designer can provide you with the vector file.
- If you only have a picture of it, send the biggest one
- A photo of a shirt or a screenshot off a website is usually too small to print from. The largest original file you can find is always better than a clean-looking small one.
- Tell us where it goes and how big
- Left chest, full front, full back, sleeve, and roughly how wide you want it. Placement changes the art more often than people expect.
- Count your colours
- For screen printing, each colour in the design is its own screen. Knowing the count early is the difference between a quote that holds and a quote that moves.

Not sure which method, or which garment?
Tell us the occasion, the headcount and the date. That is enough for us to come back with a direction, and the whole catalog is open if you would rather browse first.
